Wing Specifications: Classification: mobile suit Model number: XXXG-01W Head height: 16.3 meters Dry weight: 7.1 tons Armor materials: Gundanium alloy Armament: vulcan x 2 machine cannon x 2 beam saber x 2 buster rifle x 1
This is the original Gundam given to Heero to pilot
at the beginning of the anime series. This mobile suit earned its
name because of the nifty 'bird' mode it can switch to, causing it
to go from "mobile suit" mode over to a sort of "plane"
shape, making flying in the atmosphere much easier. It was built by
Doctor J for the Operation Meteor project. Wing Gundam is one of the
most abused Gundams in the entire series, seeing how it dealt with
a confrontation from Zechs in episode one, then crashed into the ocean,
and even undergoes being destroyed by Heero halfway through the series.
@.@;;; It is later rebuilt by OZ, and Lady Une uses the Gundam to
save Treize from being destroyed by the Libra's beam cannon during
the ending of the TV series.
Mercurius Specifications:
Classification: mobile suit
Model number: OZ-13MSX2
Head height: 16.3 meters
Dry weight: 7.3 tons
Armor materials: Gundanium alloy
Armament: beam gun x 1
crash shield x 1
planet defensor x 10
One of two special mobile suits that OZ created, this
baby was designed to be a sort of..."smart mobile suit"
version of Heero Yuy. Heero was used as a test pilot for the suit,
and the suit's creators used his moves and battle mannerisms to improve
the overall performance of Mercurius. This suit is later destroyed by Duo Maxwell at the end of the TV series.
Epyon Specifications: Classification: mobile suit Model number: OZ-13MS Head height: 17.4 meters Dry weight: 8.5 tons Armor materials: Gundanium alloy Armament: heat rod x 1 beam sword x 1
I know that Zechs is the one who mainly pilots this
gundam, but I couldn't resist, seeing how Heero was the one who got
to test drive this creation. ^.^ Built by Treize, he gave it to Heero
so that he could "see his future". Yeah, way to open Heero's
eyes there, Treize! This Gundam comes equipped with the Zero System,
everyone's favorite battle performance-enhancing program. ^.^ Heero's
experiences in Epyon help prepare him for battle using the other Gundam
equipped with a ZERO system... Wing Gundam Zero, or Wing Zero. ;D
Wing Zero Specifications: Classification: mobile suit Model number: XXXG-00W0 Head height: 16.7 meters Dry weight: 8.0 tons Armor materials: Gundanium alloy Armament: twin buster rifle x 1 beam saber x 2 machine cannon x 2 wing vulcan x 2
This mobile suit's design is the one all the other
Gundams are based off of. Designed fifteen years ago by the five scientists
(Doctor J, Doctor S, Doctor H, Doctor G, and Master O), this gundam's
plans were never carried out to completion, and each of the scientists modified the plans to their liking,
to create the five "original" Gundams in existence at the beginning of GW. Zero's plans were soon forgotten until Quatre Raberba Winner
discovered them after the death of his father. Quatre built the Gundam
and included the dangerous ZERO system in with it, unaware of what
the system was capable of doing to a pilot. It is later found by Zechs,
who pilots it and then trades it with Heero for Epyon Gundam. Like
its..."descendent" Wing Gundam, Wing Zero also has the ability
to transform into a "Neo Bird Mode", which is essentially
the same as the "Bird" mode on Wing Gundam. Another addition
is the twin buster rifle which can come apart to be used as two separate
guns.
Wing Zero (EW) Specifications: Classification: mobile suit Model number: XXXG-00W0 Head height: 16.7 m Dry weight: 8.0 t Generator output: 3732 kW Thruster output: 88150 kg Armor materials: Gundanium alloy Armament: twin buster rifle x 1 beam saber x 2 machine cannon x 2
Same Gundam name, completely different look. Not much
has changed about this Gundam, other than the lack of any sort of
"Bird/Neo Bird Mode" due to the new design of the Gundam's
wings. (No pun intended.) And to think Heero wanted to let this baby
burn in the sun...geez. Heero battles Wufei in HIS souped-up version
of the Altron in Endless Waltz, damaging Wing Zero severely. Then,
Heero uses the Gundam's twin buster rifle to penetrate through Mariemaia's
underground fortress in Brussels to save Relena, completely destroying
Wing Zero in the process. ;.;
Spotted a mistake I made on any (or all @.@;;) of the summaries for each Gundam? E-mail me with the corrections...it's very likely I've gotten some information confused, seeing how I'm writing this at 1:30am nearly two years ago. ;.; You *will* get full credit for your corrections! ^.^
