This is for all you rabid Duo fans out there (I know there are PLENTY of them! ^_^) who think anyone that hates Shinigami-sama should burn in hell. I'm not even a rabid fan of his, and I still think this page's author should go to hell. BURN BABY, BURN!
To start, I would like to say one thing to all the people who believe that I'm starting a war by making this page (Wufei Sucks!): If you think *this* page will start some kind of 'war', then you really should check out this page, the Anti-Duo Club Headquarters, located at: http://www.angelfire.com/anime/antiduo/. I can't wait to come back to that one page two or three months from now and see a zillion flames in the guestbook! ^_^
When I first got the link to this from the Duo's Garage webmaster, one thing ran through my mind: That Anti-Duo page webmaster has a death wish. (And I'm not talking about the ones Shinigami-sama can grant, either!) So, after having to reclick the link to that Angelfire page about ten million times, I finally went to my next victim. What I saw on the screen had me rolling on the floor, laughing my ass off harder than the Gundam Wing Boys Hate page did. Now, onto the bashing--I mean, review of the page.
1) Main Page
Ah, yes. The 'index' to the anti-Duo page, complete with reasons to hate Duo! For starters, sky blue and puky yellow (maybe brown?) clash really, really, REALLY bad on a page. Trust me, I talk from experience. X.x The only (kind of) decent thing on this page is the little logo for the page. Now, for the reasons this person hates Duo (located under the links, which I will get to shortly...).
Duo's Description:
Now, as you can see, these are not only untrue, but these are fairly stupid reasons for *hating* ANY anime character. Even though I *do* admit to calling Wufei a 'fag' on this page, do you see me using it as one of MY excuses for hating him? NO. How the hell does Duo suck? His Gundam is *very* cool (Sometimes I like it more than I like Wing Zero... X.x), he's one of the few anime guys I've ever seen that LOOKS GOOD in black, and the braid is cute! ^_^ (In case you haven't noticed, I *am* female, so don't start e-mailing me to call me gay or something. :P) Duo is a pathetic loser? Um...how? He saves the world NOT once, but TWICE! (TV series and the OVA) He's got a job as a Sweeper, and he's got Hilde. I hardly consider that being a 'pathetic loser,' which, by the way, goes along with the 'suck' thing you stated at the beginning. Not cute? Pfft, whatever. Here's more of this person's comments about Duo:
Hi Anti-Duo's and Pro-Duo's...... i'f you'd think duo is cute. You must be blind that gay person look's like my dog's butt.. And pu--lez if you want to flame me go ahead who care about those stupid flames..... And I just want to let you know that if you're a pro-relena take it from me her voice's suck.... Duhh who cares about relena if we got duo to kill... well enjoy!!!
That second sentence made absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. Did it make sense to any of you? Anyways, we can tell right off the bat this person loves flames, especially if they make an ANTI-DUO PAGE that doesn't make any sense. Why would you want to kill Duo anyways, other than because you're jealous of his popularity? Christ, even the GW Boys Hate page's reasons for hating Duo were *slightly* better than yours, and believe me when I say this: That page's reasons for hating him were REALLY stupid and made up. X.x
2) About the Webmistress
Normally, I don't go into people's bio pages because...I don't care about them. ^_^ But since this IS an Anti-page, most of the time an anti-page's webmaster or mistress's bio has some reasons why they hate a certain character in it, so I decided to check it out. The following little excript of the page (which HAD to be written using the H1 tags or something... X.x) is rather...interesting, as well as a rebuttal of why this person hates Duo:
Duo is a real pain with a stupid romantice-chinese style braid (yuck). Duo the masters of all gay. And pu--lezz if you think he is sort-of cute you must be blind. For advice: seriously, take a hike, guys. If you don't want that advice try to take an eye doctor. So enjoy this moment of truth DUO SUCKS....
First, I think that saying someone is a pain because of their hairstyle is a little stupid, and immature. (My god, memories of the GW hate page are starting to come to mind...*shudders*) What the hell does 'romantice' mean? As well as 'pu--lezz'? What's wrong with having a Chinese-style braid? Personally, I think it looks cute on him! By the way, that comment could be considered a little racist... :/ I do think he's cute, and he's not even my favorite character. I also happen to have 20/20 vision, so... :P By the way, Duo is NOT the master of everything that's gay, that title happens to be given to Chiba Mamoru of Sailormoon. (In case you have no idea about who I'm talking about, that's my FAVORITE person in the whole wide world Tuxedo Fag! :P *sarcasm*)
3) The Anti-Duo War Zone
A small explaination, then I'll get back to my review: An 'Anti-Whatever War Zone' basically is just a message board where Pro-whoevers are faced with dealing with the Anti-whoevers. It's rather stupid, in my opinion, and that's probably why WS doesn't have one. (Even though it would guarantee visitors would keep coming back here... X.x) Anyways, it would appear that the link to THIS 'War Zone' doesn't work, so I'll move onto the next part of the page. Again: ALWAYS remember to check a link before you post it on a page, and ESPECIALLY after you upload it to your server!!
4) Why She Hates Duo
Again, another dead link. Does this person even know the CONCEPT behind the <a href> tag? Sheesh, if you're gonna link a page, use this:

If you're going to use the actual URL of the page, then at least make sure you have tha paths and stuff right. (In this case, it's "/anime/antiduo/pagename.html") X.x Time to move right along, since this is NOT a damn online HTML class... *takes off an additional 5 points for ANOTHER broken link...*
5) The Flamer's Message Board...I mean, Guestbook
This has to be the BEST part about this page, the guestbook. Ninety-eight percent of the entries in that Guestbook are all flaming the webmistress. (It would have been a full 100% if the owner didn't decide to make an entry replying to the one below it... X.x) I have to agree with most of the people that flamed it, the page IS rather stupid. X.x Want to add your own little entry to the page? Here ya go. Enjoy. (And yes, the link I provided on my entry is a direct link to this very review... ^_^)
Summary
Well, what more can I say? I'm pretty sure I covered everything in my individual review of each section of the page. If I had to give this a rating on a scale of 1-10, this would get a -9, beating the previous record holder at a -8. (GW Hate Boys Page). The webspace that is being wasted--err, used, to hold this page would be better put to use to hold pictures of Wufag. (The non-deformed ones, and I used to think that THOSE were an EXTREMELY big waste of webspace. X.x) Also, this page seems like it was made by someone who hasn't even seen an EPISODE of Gundam Wing. (In fact, I do believe this person has even admitted in her own guestbook that she has NOT seen Gundam Wing.) Hell, even saying this person has even seen a *commerical* of Gundam Wing would be hoping for too much.
A note to the Anti-Duo Club HQ's webmistress: You really need to revamp your page,as well as put Frontpage/Netscape Composer's spell checker to use. (While you're at it, run it through Microsoft Word and use the grammar checker, too. X.x) And go ahead and send me an e-mail, I assure you that you will get an equally nasty one right back. As for anyone else, be sure to check out the page so you can have a good laugh! Ja!
